Event Description: Our lab at The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco, CA seeks Bay Area-based participants for a neuroscientific study on braille reading. Our goal is to learn more about how the hands and brain work together to read and understand tactile writing. In this in-person study, you’d visit the lab at a mutually agreed time and read braille texts while we measure your brainwave activity using EEG, a common, non-invasive, and completely safe technology. It would take up to about 3 hours, and we’d pay you $30 per hour and cover reasonable travel to and from the lab if needed. For more details on eligibility, to learn more about the lab, or to inquire about signing up, please visit the following link or contact us via the email, phone, or web form information posted below.
