August’s Open Mic Night has been royally taken over, and we are so ready for it. Incredible drag queen, Taipei, is hosting a hybrid open-mic drag show for newbie drag performers, drag-curious artists, veterans looking to experiment, and everyone in between. Come play and try out your work for the most loving and supportive community around. We’ll have props and accessories to play with starting at 6:00, and the hybrid show will start at 7:00 sharp. You can perform in person, online, play a video – we just want to see your art! Unlike our typical open mic, we need performers to sign up in advance so nobody gets all dressed up with nowhere to go. Check your confirmation email for the sign-up link. Keep the pieces to 5 minutes or less (we will be ruthless). Weather permitting, this will be an indoor-and-outdoor event.
Masks will be required inside and outside for the in-person event. If you need to avoid masking for access reasons, please let us know, and we can provide a COVID test. Performers who wish to unmask during their performance will be required to test negative for COVID-19 before going on.
