adults only | captions | virtual

Event Organizer: Independent Living Resource Center San Francisco

Location: Virtual

Price: Free!

Event Description:

Join ILRCSF for a Peer Mentor Program Info Session to learn about our upcoming peer mentoring group for adults with disabilities.

The Peer Mentor Program is for people who want to build peer connections, practice communication and listening skills, explore boundaries and self-advocacy, and support each other’s goals.

During this info session, we’ll go over how the program works, what topics we’ll cover, what the time commitment looks like, and what participants can expect from the group sessions and peer connection portions of the program. There will also be time for questions.

You do not need to be sure you want to join before attending. This session is a chance to learn more and see if the program feels like a good fit.

Zoom captions will be available. Participants are welcome to engage in the way that works best for them, including speaking, using the chat, or listening. If you have other access needs, please reach out to Brianna Sendziak at brianna@ilrcsf.org or (415) 543-6222.
