We’re so excited to welcome volunteer lawyers from the California Employment Lawyers Association’s Worker Outreach Committee! They will be providing 45-minute, free, virtual, confidential consultations. You can ask them all about California employment law issues, including disability accommodations, the interactive process for disability accommodations requirements, medical and sick leave, whistleblower protections, and other forms of unlawful discrimination and retaliation, as well as general questions about pay and benefits. You should have ready any key documents that provide the details needed for meaningful consultation, such as requests for accommodations, supporting medical documentation, pay records, communications with management or HR, and any other important records that explain your issues. We need to limit this event to California folks because that’s where the attorneys are licensed. Registration is in two steps. First, you’ll need to register at dcc.page/legal-consults. Once you register, you’ll get a scheduling link with a brief questionnaire.
