Cafe Crip: Science Fiction

DCC Hosted

ASL | Captions | Virtual

Cafe Crip is a monthly gathering to talk about important topics within our disability communities. For August, we’re visiting the worlds of science fiction and disability. Let’s talk about traveling through space and time, exploring the multiverse, and connecting to wild imaginings. Also, we don’t always love a supercrip, but do we sometimes love a supercrip? Let’s discuss! We send readings in advance, but they are optional, and there will be plenty of opportunities to jump in if your capacity doesn’t allow for reading them. Facilitator Bianca Laureano leads the group through community agreements and access principles to ensure everyone can join this informal community-building hangout.
