Event Description: Interested in creating poetry that speaks to you as a Disabled, neurodivergent, or chronically ill person? If so, join us for a workshop that explores how we can subvert the violences of medical and diagnostic language to rewrite our bodily stories. Let’s cut the medical language that makes us feel detached and pathologized, and explore how to reattach it to alternative meanings and narratives by way of poetic reinscription.
