Event Organizer: Unfixed Media

Location: Virtual

Price: Free!

Event Description: Join us online for the global premiere of Unbound followed by a live Q&A with the creators!

Unbound is a short dance film created by twenty people living with ME/CFS, Long COVID, and other disabilities.

Inspired by Mitchell Rose’s Exquisite Corps, Unbound weaves together self-recorded movement from participants around the world into a single continuous choreography. The result is a moving exploration of creativity, connection, limitation, and what remains possible when movement is redefined.
Following the screening, join us for a live conversation with director Sara Nesson, producer Kimberly Warner, and members of the cast, moderated by Narrative Medicine scholar and essayist Renée Nicholson.

Whether you live with chronic illness, love dance, work in healthcare, or simply believe in the transformative power of art, we hope you’ll join us for this special evening.

Illness is not the end of dance.
