Welcome to Liberation Lunches! A weekly space where you can show up exactly as you are and enjoy a meal, the DCC’s treat. We believe gathering together, meeting each other’s access needs, and nourishing our bodies are essential to creating collective liberation. So, whether you’re in a social mood or a solo mood, we’d love to have lunch with you! We order enough food for about 25 people, so make sure that you register if you plan to come!

This week we’ve ordered from Mixiote. Please join us for Chicken Mixiote (chicken thighs slow-cooked in a grilled guajillo red pepper sauce, wrapped in banana leaves. Served with turmeric rice with peas and carrots, roasted poblanos and bell peppers with a creamy cheese sauce, and house-made tortilla chips with tomatillo salsa verde and a carrot habanero salsa roja) and Rajas and Quinoa (roasted poblanos and sweet bell peppers tossed in a fresh tomatillo verde salsa. Served with beet cabbage quinoa salad, toasted sesame seeds, and a lime vinaigrette.)
