Community Living Campaign
An Inclusive and Educational Event
San Francisco will host the Disability Rights San Francisco Treasure Hunt, an inclusive event welcoming participants of all abilities to explore the city’s landmarks and hidden gems. The treasure hunt will run throughout July, offering three participation options: virtual sessions, guided walking tours, and individual hunts via the Scavvy app. This event will highlight San Francisco’s history and commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, with significant stops at disability rights locations.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with various sites. The event will incorporate trivia questions and interactive elements to enhance the experience.
A call to action will advocate for issues affecting the disability community, including safeguarding services, healthcare rights, and accessible resources. Celebrations will occur at Ruth’s Table on July 30th, with groups exploring multiple sites in San Francisco.
Overall, the treasure hunt aims to celebrate disability pride while advocating for the community’s needs.
